About

Having lived in cities all my life, I value beautiful, resilient, functional greenspaces. I pay attention to how people want to use their outdoor space and what role it plays in their life – always aiming to deliver a garden that is going to be loved, and lived in, like a natural extension of the home. My designs are strongly guided by the sense of place that makes each garden special – enriching what’s already there, but also adding new rooms to bring diverse areas and interest to gardens, enticing people to wander outdoors and enjoy the magic of their gardens.

About

My
Background

I've just completed a Diploma in Garden Design from the London College of Garden Design. I got into gardening in 2015 as an antidote to an intense 25-year career building global brands in the US and UK.

After making a lot of rookie mistakes in my own garden, I studied the Level 2 Diploma in Horticulture with the Royal Horticultural Society, and received a Pass with Commendation. I followed that up with a 1 year WRAGS Work Placement at Moggerhanger Park (a Historic Garden in Sandy, Bedfordshire) and also volunteered at the Swiss Gardens (RHS Partner Garden, Shuttleworth Trust).

The finishing touch to put all this horticultural knowledge into practice comes from the Garden Design Diploma at the prestigious London College of Garden Design, Kew Gardens. I feel fortunate to study under the tutelage of industry guru Andrew Wilson (Fellow & Former Chairman of the Society of Garden Designers) and leading practitioners such as Harry Holding, Tom Massey, Colm Joseph, Andrew Fisher Tomlin, Olivia Kirk, James Aldridge, Paul Hensey, and James Hitchmough to name a few.

Please take a look at my design portfolio and let’s talk about how to make the most of your greenspace!
